The IASR Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Science allows authors to request withdrawal of a manuscript before publication when there is a legitimate reason.

Authors should submit a withdrawal request to the Editorial Office, clearly stating the manuscript title, manuscript ID, and reason for withdrawal. The request should be made by the corresponding author or with the agreement of all authors.

A manuscript should not be withdrawn simply to submit the same work to another journal without first informing the journal. Withdrawal requests may be reviewed by the editorial team, particularly when the manuscript has already entered peer review or undergone substantial editorial processing.

Once an article has been formally published, it cannot normally be withdrawn. Post-publication concerns are handled through the journal's Corrections and Retractions Policy.

The journal may take appropriate action if a withdrawal request is associated with suspected plagiarism, duplicate submission, research misconduct, or other ethical concerns.
