The IASR Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Science is committed to maintaining an accurate and reliable scholarly record. When significant errors or misconduct are identified after publication, the journal may publish an appropriate correction, retraction, or other editorial notice.

Corrections

Minor errors that do not affect the scientific meaning of an article may be corrected when appropriate. Significant errors that affect the accuracy or interpretation of the published work may require a formal correction notice.

Retractions

An article may be retracted when there is clear evidence of serious problems, such as unreliable findings, major errors, plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, or other forms of research misconduct.

Retraction decisions are made following appropriate editorial assessment and, where necessary, communication with the authors or relevant institutions.

Transparency

Corrections and retractions will clearly identify the affected article and explain the reason for the editorial action. The original publication record will be maintained where appropriate, with a clear indication of its corrected or retracted status.

The journal may consider relevant ethical guidance and established publication-ethics principles when handling corrections and retractions.
